My LQS has a long arm in the shop and a lady who is learning to use it available to quilt. She and I custom designed each block and I was with her as she quilted. I finished binding it this morning. This is the first top I've made but the second I've had quilted. I call it "Garden Sampler" because it has flowers which represent the different houses I have lived in over the years; morning glory for California, fireweed for Alaska, rose for Idaho, Banksia for Australia, sunflower for Kansas.
You've done a wonderful job on your quilt and the quilting is beautiful.

That's a beauty of a quilt! I love the fact that it was a learning experience for you, but more importantly that you incorporated your life journey so far, in fabric!
Wonderful idea - wonderful memories!
