A great quilt with an excellent purpose. Everyone should have a 'survival bag' in their vehicle.

That is a very attractive scrappy quilt. Hope you made a dent in your stash. When I was back east in the mid 70s, I had in my car a very heavy wool quilt I bought at a farm auction in Kansas.

Great idea to keep a quilt in the car. I keep my old snowmobile suit and boots in the car during the winter "just in case".

The pattern I used is from Missouri Star Quilt Company's tutorial: The Sticks and Stones Quilt. Here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-iD2LPm3Uc The pattern does use 2 1/2" strips. I didn't put the last border on my quilt, but I do like the outside border in the video. Maybe the next time I'll add that border.
