    Thank you, that is a compliment. I had a lot of the squares already sewn together from earlier projects that had been strip pieced. When I combined all the left over sections of piece blocks I tried to sew them from light to dark. As I sewed the rows together, some fabrics ended up close together and didn't notice that so much until I looked at the pictures. If you are starting from scratch you will be able to work it out so you don't have same fabrics next to it in the next rows.
