Default scrappy half square triangle quilt

So good to be back to a little quilting again after so much going on for months with my husband's cancer and 5-bypass heart surgery. Amazing what quilting can do for one's attitude and emotions. I just finished this quilt after working on it for months (with quite a lot of interruptions. ) At a garage sale last year, I bought a Walmart bag of "cut" half square triangles for $1.....(like I needed more scraps, but can never resist a bargain). Put them together with several pieces of bright yellow I had on hand. I enjoyed making this one and the quilting was fun. Since this will probably be given to the women's crisis center, I decided I would really "Play" with some quilting techniques that I've been afraid to try on some other "designated gift" quilts I've made. Had so much fun with no stress and just letting go.... Used more scraps to make the backing as large as I needed. For some reason, I get an error when trying to download the backing. Sorry. Now, I would love for someone to tell me how to move this into the Scrappy Quilt Show that is on this board. I think it needs to be in that....since it's "scrappy."

Great piecing and quilting. You are lucky that the HST's were cut so nicely. I was given some that weren't and it wasn't fun at all. You did a great job on this quilt.

You did a fabulous job! Quilting always looks so good when it's FMQ. This will surely cheer up some poor soul in the shelter!!
