The scrappy quilt is the one I talked about on another thread - I got a box of scrap squares at a flea market and made them into the quarter square triangles on my treadle. They were really ugly - but - I love the way the quilt came together. I think some of the fabric, if not all, is cotton, and I used cotton backing and polyester batting. Quilted in the ditch for the triangles on a vintage singer electric, and a little FMQ on the borders with the dinky Brother (love that machine too). Measured it, washed it with two color catchers (turned brown as did the water, but nothing bled) laid on heated bathroom floor to dry. Didn't shrink.
Featherweight is after a long search and many garage/estate sales, flea markets, antique stores, etc. Got it at an antique mall, no attachments except it does have a bobbin case, and no carrying case, but I was so happy to find it. It was born on March 31, 1950 in Elizabethport, NJ, where I was born in 1944.
