mine are all cut to 2.5" strips , plus or minus. That way I trim to 2.5" squares or use as strips when the time comes to use them.

Red Garnet,

Please let me know how this comes out. I bought that pattern almost two years ago, and I keep looking at it. I have a ton of scraps, and another 20+ containers of UFO's.

But if you use up all your scraps what will you do? The spider web quilt is a good start.

I so enjoy the process of making quilts from scraps. The memories the pieces have of the different quilts I have made in the past are so nice. While working with scraps I just kind of lose myself in the process. Sewing them together is so relaxing and the outcome can be so awesome!

That is a great looking scrappy quilt! I can't even begin on a scrappy quilt until I finish the UFOs which will add more scraps to my pile! It's a never-ending cycle -- make a quilt, get more scraps! LOL

It's going to be lovely. I'm a big fan of scrappies and always have a crumb or other scrap quilt going on the side. They're fun to do and even if they don't make the scraps completely go away, they still help to keep 'em under control--that's my story and I'm sticking to it LOL

Hope you made a dent with your scraps. They seem to multiply like rabbits in my home!
