This quilt throw is for newly married friends of ours (as of this past Saturday) and for their housewarming. The photos do not due her justice. The color palette is dark jewel, earth tones with some bright, fun batiks thrown in.
She needs quilting, borders and binding, when I'm officially back to sit at my machine, then off in the mail to her new home in MA.

Hope your back soon feels better. I understand about not being able to sit at the machine for longer than 10 min. I haven't even tried yet...just had hip replacement surgery a week and a half ago...I'd rather be quilting!
