Thread: Shining Star

Chele, Love it. Great colors. I've been wanting to do one like this for awhile, but have just never gotten to it. You're inspiring me!!!

Interesting coincidence, I was just watching the very program earlier today and was wondering if the procedure was as easy as she claimed it was? What do you think?

This is aGREAT pattern i've used it three times first made by pat. the other two i enlarged, i just couldn't do a diamond lone star . i like this one alot. And yours is greattttttttttttttt

It was a very easy pattern, and I'm a beginner. I want to try it actual size and I bet I could get more of those points to line up! Try it, you'll like it! :D

I watched the show too. After seeing yours it is definitely on my list for the near future. I'm wondering if the star could be extended out beyond 5 fabrics without losing the effect of the pattern. Hmmmm. I guess it's time to get out the colored pencils and grid paper.

Thanks for sharing the link, I don't get that show here. jbs......it's a star pattern alright, but none of those pesky 6 or 8 points to try & lay flat in the center.....could be fun!
