Today, I finished the middle of this quilt that I am making for my DH and me. Most of the fabrics are batiks, and so beautiful. Got the border fabric when we went through Sisters, Oregon last time. The plan is to put this on point, with borders around it until it is big enough. One border will be squares of the fabrics, sewn together....with the beautiful Sisters fabric doing more borders.

    not sewn together yet

Here is what I finished tonight. My plan is to put this on point, and add the corners using stripes of more of the white on white, the blocks and the batik turquoise/purple. I am a little nervous about how to do all that, but, figure that it will happen if I work at it.

It's coming along beautifully! Don't you just love Sisters? We were there a few years back for the quilt show, what a lovely place and the show was outstanding. I love to buy fabric when I travel, to me it's the best type of souvenir because of the happy memories it allows me to stitch into my quilts.
