K I am thinking I may try the OBW for the dogs and cats for checkbook covers. I may use the minis or not. I would love to play with this technique but you know I would never get a whole quilt done. Don't have the time for anything that big anyway. But this way I can have some fun with the OBWs!!
Twas my first thought when I saw them 'Hooray, betcha R's going to do mini OBWs!'

As I do miniatures I am hard pressed to find good tiny print fabrics in the colors I like. I prefer navy or dk blues dk burgandies and hunter greens. The one green was on sale for $6.70 in a shop where everything is usually $9 a yd. So I was pleased. I was especially pleased to find the navy one. They are few and far between for tiny print and a true navy. The burgandies I was refilling some of my favorite ones that I was out of. So it was a good satisfying day.

LOL I went in to the first shop and was in there awhile.Glen waited patiently in the van. When I came out I had a small sack and he says "Didn't find what you wanted?" LOL He didn't think I bought enough! that doesn't happen too often!

Those are great Rhonda. I'm anxious to see what you do with them. You know who will want a little pink purse, so you'll have to do that for Rachel. Does she have a B'day soon? I like the dogs/cats, too. Can't have too much fabrics & stash. Glad you got to shop.
