Default from shower curtain to quilt

I found a brand new 100 % cotton shower curtain still in the package for 99 cents at the thrift store. It is the fabric with the leaf design. I had the other fabric in my stash. This is one of the prayer quilts I am making. It is 45 by 65 inches. I had enough of the shower curtain for the backing as well and I am pleased with the results. I still am quilting it in the ditch and have the binding to put on, but I think that shower curtain looks great in a quilt, don't you? I am putting an overlay of lace on the cross, just for somthing different - or maybe not...have not decided yet.

Lucky find. It is such a pretty quilt. We never know what we are going to run across that we can use in our quilting.

Very pretty and I like the lace. They make such beautiful shower curtains now that you could use for quilting.
