Absolutely perfect! Doing special quilts where they are "needed" is wonderful! The expression on the girls' faces is your "thank you"! I also have never taken money for a quilt; I don't have time to make a quilt I will worry about (and I would, every step of the way if it was commissioned). Actually, I don't seem to have time to make all the quilts, in timely fashion, that seem to be needed. I'd like to get some sent to the Sandy victims, but first I have to finish the bed quilt for DH and myself. He is 80 and we've never kept a quilt, except one

I also read somewhere that at this point, money is more appreciated because of the logistics of getting the items to the victims. I'm not trying to discourage your generous offer; it's wonderful of you to want to donate quilts. I'm just passing along what I read.
