Oh Barnbum it is LOVELY! As much as I would salivate over having this beauty on my rack, the fabrics are so intense that custom quilting would not show very much. Even though I found a perfect quilting design for a TIC, it would best be used on a quilt where the focus fabric reads more solid. I say go with a panto to let your fabulous fabric choices sing. This one is drop dead gorgeous and now I am sorry I didn't pick some of this up the day we went shopping! This seems to be a perpetual predicament for me as I always seem to be regretting not getting something you picked up for yourself whenever I go fabric shopping with you! LOL

Thanks for the kind replies. I have several more "plain" blocks done. I admit I individually choose the side pieces for each one--wanting them to match as nicely as possible. Time consuming, but this is a step I love.
