I bought this wonderful "Snowbuddies" fabric from board member Lady Crafter in October thinking that I would get it put together for the holidays. Life got in the way along with a few more gifts to complete so I finished it yesterday! I had cut it out in 2010 but finished in 2011 so I guess that makes it the first of (I hope) many for the new year. I've only been quilting since March 2010 and have really enjoyed it as well as interacting and learning from all the members of this board. I don't think I would be as far along in my skills or have completed as many projects without the inspiration of all of you. Thank you all so much!

Yes you are Sharon!

I think this is fantastic from a new quilter. You did two borders around each block, sashing and a cornerstone. Well done!

I have these same blocks, have been cut out for probably 8 years or so, with some sashing in Red. Course then they didn't have snowflake material like yours. Anyway it's been in my PHD stash since, just wasn't quite sure how to finish. Still not sure, but I sure know that I will be using snowflake fabric in it. This was great. Meanwhile I have to get my sewing room organized after our move here a month ago to find the tote that has this in so I can get it done. Thanks

Yours looks great!
