Default First 2 blocks WIP "Candy Store"

I love this quilt. It is the cover Quilt of Fons and Porter, Love of Quilting, May/June 2012.
The designer, Jean Wells, used gray as the neutral but I'm using black. There will be a black sashing around each 16 inch block. I love scrappy quilts~the more scraps I use the more I have~ I just don't understand Thanks for looking.....

That is fabulous! I'll have to unearth my Fons & Porter magazine & look at that version. I know I love this one! Please keep us posted to its progress!

The black really accents the other colors in your blocks making it very interesting and attractive to the viewers eye!

You have a teriffic start on this scrappy. I too don't understand how at the end of making scrappies the scrap pile never seems to have gone down?!!??

Good start. I like how the black frames each block. Please post the finished quilt. Thanks for sharing.
