Found this fabric at Joanns after clearance sale for 70% off. I cut off the Christmas borders and sashed in black. I don't think it looks like a Christmas quilt even though the panel has some Christmas wreaths and such. Any way I think my DH likes it. Any ideas on how you would quilt it?

I bought the same fabric at 70% off last year, but did not do anything with it because I did not want a "Christmas" quilt. I like your idea, and just may steal it. Thanks for posting.

I've had horses all my life I know he will just love this!! I also have this fabric. Have you seen the big panel with the two horses eating the carrots?? I have that as well. I have volunteered for Colorado Horse Rescue and I think i will make this up for their auction.

Great Job!! :-D

Love your quilt! I don't know a whole lot about quilting designs but I would suggest just quilting in the sashing and border areas and leave the picture areas "plain" - or - quilt around the edge of the horses to make them "puff out" (if that's a phrase). Any way you do it would probably be fine with your DH.
