Last year my best friend went to New York City with her sister. She was telling me how amazed she was by all the taxi cabs on the streets. When I spotted this taxi cab fabric at a quilt show earlier this year I knew I HAD to make her a quilt. I even found stop light buttons to put in the "intersection".

I had the same impression. I really like the fabric and your quilt. Bet it will bring back fond memories for her.

Awesome. She will love it. The buttons in the center are a great idea. Looks like a traffic light.
