    Reminds me of the cover quilt on Quilting Quickly this month. It was wonderful of you to make a quilt for a veteran who is homeless. Wish more of us would do something like this.

    Thanks for all the nice comments. Making quilts for vets is a priority with me. I have two sons who have been in the reserves. One is out but the other just returned from his second deployment in Afghanistan. Once a mom watches her son and his family go through this it touches your heart so deeply that you have to do something to give back.

    A fantastic quilt from your scraps and your generosity. It is so sad that we have homeless veterans, ones who have given so much for our freedoms. Your Guild has taken on a very worthwhile project.
