Default Sugar Jelly Roll Pop quilt

A new facility opened close to our guild for veterans who are of low income and/or homeless. We were asked to make a quilt if we could as their are 50 beds. Found this free pattern on line. While cleaning my sewing room came across a box (which I had forgotten about) with 2 x 6 1/2 strips cut (must have been almost organized at one point). Decided to use them rather than a jelly roll so had todo a little re figuring but it turned out to be 20" squares so only 12 were needed. Like this pattern and a nice way to use some scraps.

Someone will enjoy sleeping under this quilt. What a terrific opportunity to help our veterans who deserve so much more than they are receiving.
