    Sugar and Spice

    ...and everything nice.

Here is the companion to the puppy dog quilt I posted a few days ago. I have really been having fun with the FMQ! Figures are the hardest for me to do, but these little baby quilts (42 X 42) are the perfect size for practicing on, bigger than a practice "sandwich" but not so big that I have to wrestle to keep it on the table. "Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them." It looks like your practice is paying off. Your stitching looks good.
