Default Suede texas quilt

I'm new to this great site - and thought i'd post this "outside the cotton box" photo of a recent quilt i made with faux suede fabrics. The backing was faux suede as well...and heavy enough that i stitched in the ditch with no batting. Only down side - i had to clean out my bobbin housing about every hour of sewing as the fibers from the faux suede tended to glog it. Hope you like it...and hope the photo actually posts !!!

Gorgeous!!!
Had to do the same when sewing with velvet and with corduroy, but it's worth it.
The one I made with corduroy is also very heavy and I just tied it. The friend I made it for named it "Blankelroy" and takes it with her camping as well as keeping it on her bed.
Do you get to keep this beauty for your own? I would hope so.

Gorgeous and love the vibrant colours. That must have been quite a job to sew!
