I looked at pictures and read tutorials on here and then just went for it. My mom's favorite color is light blue so that's why I trimmed it in that color. After cutting off the binding from the sleeves and bottom of the sweatshirt I felt it needed more length. I added the patch pockets so she will have a place to carry her cellphone. I could not find any sweatshirts in the stores so I used one from my closet. It says Curves on the inside. She'll be surprised when she finds that. Any ideas on how to cover up my inside seams? That's the only thing I am not happy with. Well, maybe too that the sweatshirt is dark and shows through the lighter fabrics. Thanks for looking!

It looks great - I have 2 sweatshirts in my stash just waiting. Could you use some sort of bias tape to cover the seams?????

I was thinking bias tape also over the inside seams. Looks great. I am thinking both of my sisters might like one of these. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely Jacket, I know your Mom will enjoy it for a long time. I'd like one myself!
