This year for the Fall Festival my son's class was giving the task to send in items that will be put into a Gift Basket for Staff Member. This could be a Teacher, Office Employee or Custodian.

Over the summer while vacationing in MN, I came across a Cup Cozy pattern. I happen to have some green chalk board FQ's on hand. I picked up the black print and binding material and off I went. I ended up making four out of the material I had. Saving the other three for gifts later in the year. I filled it with items that would be loved by any person working at a school (I think anyway) and off it went.

All the kids in his class loved it and his Teacher thought it was cool looking. That is all I could ask for

Best part of the whole thing is that I walked into a Thrift Store in town and got 12 coffee mugs in the size that works for these for FREE. Could not go wrong with that deal

Cup full of goodies.

this is so cute; do you have a pattern; I'd love to have one on my sewing table.

With the fabrics you chose, it was just the perfect teacher gift.

Would have loved to have one of these when I was still working - not that I don't work now ;-)

There's a few sites with patterns etc. previously on the board, here's a link to some of them.
