    This is a Sun Bonnet Sue I made for my grand daughter Annaleise , each of my 6 grand children have a Nanny quilt,its one that belong to them that they have at our home when they come to visit.The each have quilts I have made them at home too.

    This quilt is a recycled quilt, the applique in each of the block came from a shoe caddy ,I found it when we were going through my mother in laws things after she passed away.First it got put it a box to go to chrity , then I started to think of all the work that went into doing the applique, and dug it out ,came home and started to unpick.The fabrics in the sashing and borders all came from scraps that I had left from other project.I wish I had taken a photo of the shoe caddy before I unpicked it,I have been looking on line to find another , but with no luck.
