    Default Thrift Store Find

I just picked this up for $3 and it has 26 layers on the bolt. I figure about 8 yds? of really nice muslin (not the thin stuff you can buy now) Other than a lot of backs for runners, what would you make with it?

I use muslin as a backgound fabric in quilt squares... it gives a more antique look to a quilt. Quilting shows up wonderfully on muslin. Use for backing of quilts not just runners... when its used as a backing on a quilt.. the muslin side resembles a whole cloth quilt.

Wow! That was a find. You can use it for for anything you want to. You can back a quilt, use it for Cathedral Windows, Double Wedding Ring, and place at all where you need that color. How wide is it?

You may have more like 13 yards if it's a normal bolt. Either way, it's a great buy.

Wow, bless your heart, what a great find! I agree with the 13 yards and immediately thought of the Cathedral Windows. Enjoy!!
