    2012 My Latest Christmas Quilt

Just wanted to post my latest Christmas quilt. This is another example of me seeing a photo & then making it into a quilt. I did not have a pattern to follow I just made it up as I went along fusing the fabrics to Heat & Bond Lite & fusing it to the background fabric. Enjoy my Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.

And to all the members of the Quiltingboard.com have a very Merry Christmas. Thank you, MaryC 12-12-12

Okay, this is just too cute! You definitely did a great job of recreating a CB tree! Love that wooden base.

This is fantastic! And the timing is so appropriate...my grandson spent this past weekend with us and watched this video over and over. We have a small, musical CB tree and after watching this video (did I mention repeatedly LOL) he had to dance to the tune. His Papo and I were so delighted. Your wallhanging just made me smile! Merry Christmas to you!
    Have a happy day,

    Fran

    Dear Coyotemagic:

Unfortunately I donít have a pattern for this. I Googled the photo of the Charlie Brown Tree to use as an example then designed it myself by drawing the trunk & branches by hand. Then I used fabric that has pine branches on it & fused that to Heat & Bond Lite then cut into the needles very carefully to give it the needle effect before I fused it to the branches. Iím glad that you & others enjoyed seeing my latest creation.
    Thank you, MaryC
