    What a wonderful gift. There was a reason you felt as if there was "nothing you could do with them". Time gives us the answers, they were waiting to be a very special quilt!

    Thanks - I had no idea what my mother in law was thinking of doing with these. She made these I believe back in the 70's way before I even knew her. Since they were all different sizes and colors I'm thinking that maybe she was just practicing. I'm so glad she never got rid of them.

    How special for your granddaughter to have something made by her great grandmother and grandmother. It's a beautiful quilt.
