My sister and I worked on this quilt together. We've made several of them, they are so much fun to make. The pattern is of course, Drunkards Path and the embellishment is done with erasers & acrylic paints. My sister cut out the pieces, I sewed them together and made the backing, which is fat quarters, she quilted it and I put on the binding. I'm a little shy about showing my quilts, but I liked this one so much I just had to post it. Thanks for looking.

After all the blocks are assembled & put together, use a new pencil eraser dipped in acrylic paint for the dots. The little sticks are made with a rectangular eraser from Hobby Lobby, they come three in a pkg. in the art supplies dept. The idea and pattern is from a book by Jean Raye Laurie. Her pattern includes a template for the slash shapes and you use it to position the dots also. I'll have to look up the name of the book & get it on here later.

What is eraser method? Really like this muted design. Looks like so much work. Don't think I have ever heard of the eraser part of quilting.
