Default Time to Quilt! A quilt block clock

Here is my latest project. It is a clock made from a quilt block. I got the pattern FREE from http://www.ctpubblog.com/2012/03/01/...t-and-giveaway. You can used any quilt block as the clock center. The pattern shows one made for the Mariner's Compass that is really pretty. I did add 3" outer border to this pattern so that this border woold wrap around the canvas

I mounted the block on a artist canvas. I used spray adhesive too attach a piece of batting to the canvas and then the block and then hot glued the block to the back of the canvas. Then add clock works. I choose not to put numbers on mine but ypu can if you want to. My clock is 18" but you can make it any size you want. Just make the block and then buy canvas to fit. I also used the web site "dfistant pickle:fabric clock tutorial" for the mounting instructions. I did not quilt this but am wondering is maybe I should have. Too late now! Yfo

Take Time to quilt!!

Adorable. Gee, I made something once from those exact same fabrics. I think it was a baby quilt
