You did a fabulous job. You will probably get faster as your confidence increases. All it takes is practice. I think you are doing an excellent job with your quilting designs.

That's a really cute quilt and I like your quilting too! Certainly looks as though you're getting there! My husband buys from Nancy's Notions for me on occasion so I put one of those quilting foot and stencil packs in my wish list. I'm hoping that will help me get even better on my FMQ.

Love your quilt and your attitude! Both are delightful and wonder of wonders, no one would ever guess this panel was your first time out. You are pretty amazing. Thank you.

What a great idea. I too am afraid to fmq on pieced work that involved hours/days of work using my favorite fabrics. Though I know I need to start somewhere - panels might be just the ticket! I've also been collecting pretty, flat sheets and decorative pillowcases to practice various blocks - those would be good candidates too. Thanks for sharing - I was dinosaur crazy when I was little. Though I know there are fewer fabric choices for boys, some little girl would love your quilt!

Awesome to both the look of the quilt and the quilting. Practice, practice, practice makes FMQ better everytime.
