I have decided to give you an tour of my somewhat clean sewing room. I have made a few updates.
I bought a desk and converted it to a sewing center. I only paid $120.00 for the desk and 3 small filing cabinets.. My friends husband asdded another table area and put 2 pull out shelves. My total cost for my sewing center around $200. As for my stash storage bins they are wire baskets by Elfa from the container store except i bought them for a bargain price of around $20. Needed shelves in my closet and could not find the kind I wanted and sturdy. I went to a used shelf place and found a Chef's rack w/ several shelves and rollers fit perfect in my closet and there I had instant shelves. Holds lots of fabric as you can see. Paid $60 for my rack. Part 2 of my stash is in my shed outside my home. I will show you later.
Give us a tour of your sewing room:)

My Steady Betty Board used to iron blocks and the styrofoam hold the block dow so it does not stretch. Good for bias pieces. A bit pricey but worth the $$$. The queen of cheap had to give in. Hehehe!!!!!

Show me your sewing room. Love to see where people spend their time sewing. Small room but very comfy. Love red and yellow w/ a touch of green. Plenty of good lighting and my own little castle in the house.
