    Absolutely beautiful. You are so lucky to get this wonderful quilt. It is always best to give treasured things away before your time comes to leave. Good for him, he is able to give them to whomever he wants to have them. I hope the others treasure them also.

    I don't know the name, but it is all hand pieced and quilted, and clearly a scrap quilt. some of the printed fabric are partial dresden plates, some squares, some strips, then all cut and place in the block with the 1/4 circles that make the full circle. The quilting is as magnificient as the piecing!
