Lovely quilt!! They say careful what you wish for but......I'm missing that kind of snow! We've had a fairly mild winter so far!! Very windy right now with below zero wind chill, but barely a covering of snow!!

Keep hearing about your part of the country on the news. It certainly looks like an impressive/distressive amount of snow. My dad was born and raised in ND and I have heard horror stories about so much snow. Looks like you are putting your down time to good use.

We live 22 miles outside of Boston. I was on my way home tonite and drove over the Mass Pike. There was a huge police escort with many cars followed by at least 2 miles of flat bed tractor trailers with snow removal equipment on them. All headed for Boston. Don't know where they were coming from, but we're getting help from all states that get a lot of snow. We're not quite in the city, but they are in a huge mess. The trains are not running and the head of the MTA just resigned. It's a huge mess, with more snow on the way.

Your quilt is beautiful. We had that kind of a winter last year. I was very thankful for our snow blower (600 ft driveway) and was always afraid that I would not be able to get home from work because of another road closure. Fingers crossed that your electricity stays on or you just might have to hand quilt the next one!
