    pretty, i like all the blue. i'm afraid i wouldn't have figured all that out :oops: i am so math challenged. hope she likes it. it's really great. :-)

    Thanks for the compliments. I'm a planner so most of my quilts are carefully figured out before I start. I have made a few quilts that I just start piecing scrappy blocks and then figured out how to put them together as I went and that was fun too but usually visualize what I want and then plan every detail.

    Is there some way you can show us where you added the extra row. I evidently am dumbest cause I really can't see it.

    Look at the very center of the diamond shape. There is a lighter blue block surrounded by the darkest blue block. THe vertical strip that lighter blue block is in, is the added strip.
    Do you see it now?
