    There is a pattern for strip piecing the Tumbling Blocks, it is "Not Your Grandmother's Tumbling Blocks." Not a book to buy for one pattern like some are.

    Great color placement on the first one. Are you kidding?? This makes your eyes move from place to place. Far more interesting than the predictable placement. I say Hurray!

    There is also a "Not your Grandmother's tumbling blocks (and Flower Garden)." Done by strip piecing and cutting into triangles that make diamonds.
