Here are some pics of the queen sized quilt I just finished for my DGD for Christmas.

I took a few pictures of my FMQing process along the way that I'd like to share with you, so here goes:

(Sorry the pics aren't the best quality; I took them with my cell phone...)

The Finished Quilt

"S" is for Staci..This is about 14 inches square in the middle of the quilt

This quilt was totally FMQ'd on my Juki

Now for some details on my process... First I sketch the designs on paper....

Then I mark a guideline for the spine of the design (using an appropriately sized round object)...

Then I stitch the design along the marked spine. As you can see, it differs a bit from the orignal sketch on paper.
