I am the only person that quilts and sew well my mother do a little My twin great niece always wanted to know how to sew so once a month they come and we make something they have a sewing machine each and we have Brunch and we sew they have to pay dues which is a nickle each time they come...LOL they love it this is the first thing they did (Pillows) and they did a good job. They love going through my small stash but they have fun. I told them next time we will do a Tote but they want to do a skirt.LOL well just a straight line on the side and i will do the elastic well... we will see

Look for some of those fabrics that already have elastic at the top for them to make into a skirt. Some of it is very cute and inexpensive. Our Wal-mart still has fabric and carries it.
