Default Twister for baby boy

This is my first twister. It went together way better than I expected. The mom to be is a young girl I work with (only 20 years old), and this will be a surprise for her. Not traditional colors for a baby boy, but I had the bear fabric that was begging to be used for a baby quilt. Hope she likes it :-)

cute! I'm sure she will love it .... or the little boy will as he grows. I agree with others that the border makes that quilt exceptional.

I love it! When I saw the first one I had doubts about the colors used but the finished one is perfect! And that border fabric is perfect too!! Where did you find that teddy bear border? It's just perfect! I wish the pics would enlarge so I could see and save your fmq up closer...I know I can enlarge it to look at it but it won't save at the larger size. You are doing an amazing job for a first fmq quilt!!

P.S. and thanks so much for showing the initial layout! Helps to figure out how you did it. And looking at those fabrics in the squares....they're perfect too! I've been looking for fabrics like the blue dots. Just love it!
