Default two almost finished

Wall hanging #1--sheesh, I had it on my design wall for weeks--making small color decisions as I stared at it, made more blocks and worked on other projects. Now that I see it in a photo, there's lots I would have done differently. But oh well--too late for changes. Good enough. Moving on.

The 2nd is a wall hanging for my first grade classroom. I've taken it in after every stage to show them how a quilt goes together. It has meandering, pebbles, dragonflies, and flowers quilted on it. Just need to finish the binding on the back. Will be hung Monday.

I agree, both are very creative. I have had a quilt on my design wall for over a year, but I just keep putting a newer project on top of it and those are the ones getting pieced!!

I saw that done in a few places and decided use the idea because the rectangles needed to look more like books. It's interesting to come up with titles. lol "Poems From Pebbles" is my favorite.

My design wall has part of my Triple Irish Chain up, but that is very repetitive, so I needed something to mix in. Now I will behave and finish that top. Rows are going together.
