Default Two Christmas Stockings

Recently married nephew and wife wanted stockings to go along with the tree skirt and the table topper I had made them for their wedding, so here is what I came up with. They are young people of deep faith and wanted to honor that. I had some false starts and finally asked my 12-year old DGD for her help. She designed the man's. I chose the fabric and went with it. They are no-frills and low glitz so this was a challenge as I usually have sparkles and other things on the stockings.
Learned many things, one of which was watch where the stocking is placed when you start to cut another part! Did a stained-glass design and scrapped that, so do you think these will work and that the mission was satisfactorily accomplished?
