I did 37 Christmas stockings for the soldiers . Only two designs this year.

The other is the denim quilt that I was having so much trouble with the seams  It is finally finished and will be shipped back to the organization Tuesday, I had one seam rip out in the wash so I have to repair that . The denim quilt will be sent to a military hospital and given to a soldier in either Iraq or Afghanistan. The group supplied everything but the thread and machine. If you are interested it is Operation Quite Comfort . They are always looking for more quilters

Great job. So many quilters do quilts for charity...it's a joy to read about these projects.
You hear so much negative news yet there is so much good news that we never hear about.....most people are very generous with their time and talents.

Wonderful quilts. I love the fact that you're doing them for the military men and women. I've checked out the Quilts of Valor organization before and I will check the site you suggested, too.

Sharonb: Bless your heart for making the Christmas Socks and the quilts for our soldiers. They will so enjoy them. I only got 30 socks made this year but our group got another 178 finished and sent last week. Thank you for your great caring and efforts.
