Pretty bad here now too. It hailed dime-sized hail last night for nearly 2 hours with varied bursts of walnut and ice-cube size. We dragged limbs off our driveway and covered cars all the while being beat up by it! Try and stay cool

Looks great in the window. After the front is finished tomorrow, I need to make the lining with the pockets for the 36-inch dowels, sew on the lining, add the dowels, make the headboard, sew on the rings, string it and hang it!

What a beautiful layout of colors! Good idea taking the pic first - I almost always do that nowadays. I find my mistakes better in pictures than in person. T'will be a daunting task with the stained glass effect of the black sashing but you must be up to the challenge. What size are the blocks? I'll look for the finished project in your window!
