The yellow is bright and I am not A yellow lover, but its what I had. When I layed the yellow by the blocks it looked ok . (I thought) Should I tare it apart or add another boarder and try and tone the yellow down?
It was going to be A present. Not sure now.

Oooo, I beg to differ. I think it's beautiful.

The yellow is not as bright as you think. If you want it bigger, add another border, but if not, bind it with a bright color like red.

It doesn't seem too bright. I think it's attractive.

If you have another color to add another border because you dont' like the yellow, that would tone down the yellow. Better than ripping everything apart.

I like it, put a scrappy border and see how you like it.

it is great just as it is- i would not change out the yellow- it adds needed spark and contrast to make the quilt sing

I love it! Maybe border it with a dark green, blue or brown? :D:D:D

I think it looks great. The yellow really sets the other colors off.

I don't think I would tear it apart. Perhaps a pieced border or scrappy binding would finish it off nicely.

I like it too but if you don't, adding another border is a great idea. I'd probably make it twice the width of the yellow.
