Okay,

So some of you may remember the Amelia Earhardt quilt I made ahwile back. Well anyway I had TONS of scraps from that fabric. So when they asked for people to make / donate something to the silent auction for the united way at work I thought I might make a quilt.

Mind you I'm not wild about the border fabric...but it was the only fabric I had enought of to make borders....also had to sew them end to end, and add the stars in order to STRETCH the fabric as far as I could.

The middle section is just super easy tube quilting. So I got this all done today, in about 7 hours. Now to quilt it :) I can't BELIEVE that I was able to squeeze out a whole quilt with all the scraps....makes me want to go back and see what else I have scraps from to turn into another quilt! :)

I like the border fabric:) It gives the quilt a masculine look. Good Job!

I think you did a fantastic job with this and the borders give it a "worn" look. Love it!!
