I went to a quilt store I've never been to before. I had to be in Santa Clara (CA) for a class, and had two hours to kill at lunch...so I found the LQS and had a ball. It carried over 6000 bolts of fabric, demo'd about 30 different machines, had an entire room for notions alone!! Amazing store...so amazing I can't think of the name off the top....Anyway, I'm attaching a photo of my take home from the day. The nice part is DH is out of town so I don't have to hide it and make it "blend in" with my other fabrics!

Ooo--nice picks!! Something pretty is in your future.

My favorites are the batik on the bottom and the brown with orange flowers on top.

Very Pretty!!!! If you ever need to hide them, they would blend in very well with my stash :D :D :D

Very nice. I believe I may have been in that same store over Thanksgiving weekend. I can't recall the name either. Was it in it's own building, two story?

nice score and how wonderful that you don't have to hide it away just yet.

Yes, the owner is a man named Eddie - very, very involved, knew many of his customers by name and all that. In fact, is was a shop hop, very busy, and he still knew people. He spent a lot of time showing me Berninas and Vikings. I can't wait to go back there sometime. Nice and bright and cheery place.

Yes that is the same place I went to. They had a sale the day after Thanksgiving. It was not very busy at all. Everyone I talked to that worked there was so nice and helpful!!!
