Default Ruby Baby Quilt and Bib

This is a quilt that I made for a fellow classmate who already has 2 boys and is over joyed that she is finally having a little girl! It was made out of the "Ruby" collection by Moda and the pattern was on the front cover of American Patchwork & Quilting Feb 2012 issue. Directions were for a large quilt so I just pared it down to make a baby quilt. When I saw the pattern, I just knew I had to make it and the "Ruby" collection just screamed to be used! I also made a bib for Baby Riley who is expected in 10 weeks!

( I had posted yesterday about washing a quilt before gifting because one of the seams in the block on the back had blew out. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...t-t178563.html The single block picture is how I repaired it)

Wow, you did a superb job in fixing the OOPS on the back - it is a beautiful quilt, and will be used for a long time, I'm sure - I love making baby quilts that aren't just for the first year or two, don't you? And the bib is adorable, almost too pretty to use ... but I'm sure it will be used quite often. Ya done good, kid!

Very pretty. My seams never come out because I use a small stitch length. I did when I use to make clothes too.
