Our DD's birthday is Valentine's Day and I wanted to send her something with hearts. I found the pattern from an old magazine I've had for years and used mostly scraps for the hearts. This is only the top and I need to figure out how to quilt it. Do I quilt the top and then iron on the hearts (I used Eleanor Burns' method for applique using fusible web)? The magazine didn't have very good instructions. Hope you like it :)

You will still have to sew the hearts down, but you can quilt around the hearts. It is going to beautiful.

Very cute.... I guess I need to think about V- day pretty soon here. I have been taking my sweet little ol time working on a King size quilt for MY bed, I'm wondering if I will even get that done.
