Default Very special quilt show

Today, I went to a very special quilt show. It was held at Valparaiso University Chapel.
It featured 94 quilts of valor made by 5 area quilt guilds. The quilts were made for the local National Guard troops. And will be presented to them when they return home. It is a beautiful chapel and it was inspiring to see.

Amen!!! my quilt guild is making valor quilts also. I wanted to make mine and finish them myself to give to the group who makes the quilts available for the injured soldiers who are sent to Germany and then on to the US. All members of my guild bring a sq a month for one of the members to put together into a top then someone else quilts it. Love your avitar!!
