Okay, so someone mentioned that they like to see the process that other people take. I started a baby quilt this week so I thought I would photo document the process..

This is not a tute so it's not step by step instructions, just a little something to show how I got there.

I didn't think about taking pictures before I started, so here is my already cut pile.

next I took those long strips labeled "F" and "G" and sewed them together. To make a the long rectangle under this new piece "D".

I put piece "D" face down on the first part and drew a line corner to corner. Sewed down the line and cut the excess off. Pressed the seam.

So now I have a bigger unit that I am going to put new piece "B" on top of.

Same process. Put "B" on there face down. Drew the line corner to corner and sewed. Cut the excess off and pressed the seam again.

Okay, So I'm still "growing" this same unit.

Now, I am adding piece "A". This one is not a diagonal cut. I just layed it on the unit and sewed the side seam.
