    Default Wedding/Anniversary wallhanging

My niece got married last October and after the wedding she gifted me with all the fabric they had used to make the table runners for the reception. There was LOTS of fabric that she gave me, so I took some of it and made a wall hanging for their first wedding anniversary.

All but one of the fabrics were low-contrast florals, so the wall hanging is also low-contrast, but I like the way it turned out....very soft and soothing. This was my own "made up" design and the embroidery was done using my Husqvarna Scandinavia 400 embroidery/sewing machine.

Great idea for a gift for the happy couple and a wonderful way to say thanks for the gift of fabric. Now back to that sewing room to whip up something for yourself with that pretty fabric!
